Australian Meat Pie – Recipe

On a recent trip to Auckland NZ and Melbourne AU, I discovered what all the hype was about.  Not only for Aussie Football, but for Aussie Meat Pies.  These were amazing little pies filled with ground beef and they were so simple to eat.  Just grab it and go to town, no knife, no fork, just eat it. +++++++++1 lb Ground Beef (minced beef)
3/4c Ketchup
3/4c Beef Broth (Veg broth can be substituted)
2-3tbls Worcestershire sauce
2tbls Cornstarch
2 sheets Puff Pastry (will make 3 pies)
Small pie tins (pot pie sized)OPTIONAL
Sliced button mushrooms
Graded Cheese
Cube Steak (substitute for ground beef)
Chicken (substitute for ground beef)Music:
